About Me

I am a UK trained consultant urologist working at Taranaki Base Hospital as well as privately out of rooms at 123 Vivian Street and Southern Cross New Plymouth. I offer treatment for most urological conditions with a special interest in reconstructive and functional urology as well as the treatment of urinary incontinence and mesh complications.

I commenced my urological training in London (UK) in 2011. Completing my exit exam (FRCS Urol) in 2014 where I was awarded the prestigious Keith Yeates Medal which is presented to the highest scoring candidate in the UK national exam.

I am passionate about urological research, with a publication portfolio consisting of 21 peer reviewed journal articles, 5 book chapters and international conference presentations in Europe, America and New Zealand. I have further supplemented my clinical experience by obtaining a Masters Degree (University College London) with a thesis examining the selection of surgical treatments for urinary incontinence.

I continue to keep up to date with current research and sit on international guideline panels - for the European Association of Urology (EAU) and the International Continence Society (ICS).

In 2020, my NZ husband and I made the move to Taranaki with my 2 young children and have fallen in love with the region and all it has to offer. I look forward to extending my services to the people of Taranaki.
